About Shree Girijatmak Lenyadri
Girijatmaj Ashtavinayak Temple, dedicated to Lord Ganesha in his infant form as the "Son of Girija" (Parvati), is uniquely located in a Buddhist cave on a mountain. It is the sixth temple on the Ashtavinayak pilgrimage and is carved from a single stone hill. Reached by climbing 307–315 steps, the temple is housed in the 8th of 18 Buddhist caves, also called Ganesh-leni. The hall of the temple, 53 feet long, 51 feet wide, and 7 feet high, has no supporting pillars. The surrounding area is cool, clean, and vibrant, especially after the rainy season, with playful monkeys and beautiful greenery.
गिरिजात्मज अष्टविनायक मंदिर, भगवान गणेश को समर्पित है, जहाँ उन्हें "गिरिजा" (पार्वती) के पुत्र के रूप में पूजा जाता है। यह मंदिर बौद्ध गुफा में पर्वत पर स्थित है और अष्टविनायक यात्रा का छठा मंदिर है। यह मंदिर एक ही पत्थर की पहाड़ी से तराशा गया है और 307–315 सीढ़ियाँ चढ़कर पहुँचा जा सकता है। यह 18 बौद्ध गुफाओं में से 8वीं गुफा में स्थित है, जिन्हें गणेश-लेनी भी कहा जाता है। मंदिर का हॉल 53 फीट लंबा, 51 फीट चौड़ा और 7 फीट ऊँचा है, जिसमें कोई सहायक स्तंभ नहीं है। यह क्षेत्र ठंडा, स्वच्छ और बरसात के मौसम के बाद विशेष रूप से हरियाली और खेलते बंदरों के कारण सुंदर दिखता है।
